Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and ZF have signed the cooperative agreement
(chinatrucks.com, Oct 25, 2010) At IAA exhibition; ZF and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company have signed the cooperative agreement. The agreement signed by both parties includes that ZF will provide automated transmission to Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company besides unified development work.
It is learned from reporter that Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company (DFCV) is the leading enterprise at China heavy duty commercial vehicle market. DFCV and ZF Shares Company have established the cooperative relations. ZF will provide manual transmission produced in China to DFCV. Both parties have signed the agreement at 2010 international commercial vehicle exhibition conference.
DFCV and ZF cooperates
The future intention of DFCV is that DFCV will cooperate with ZF to unified develop the top end truck market which is under the growing process. DFCV will provide the top end truck equipped with ZF transmission to the customers. It aims to help the customers to reduce the operation cost.
“It is well known that ZF products are famous its high quality in the world.” quoted by Huang Gang, the general manager of DFCV. At the moment, ZF is providing “AS Tronic” automated transmission and other new technologies to DFCV.
