www.chinatrucks.com: Xiong Zhenhong, general manager of DCEC, and Zeng Chunhua, vice president of WUT, along with over 200 teachers and students attended the donation ceremony, which was held on the WUT’s Mafangshan campus.
“While constantly making technological advances, DCEC has also been closely cooperating with universities and research institutions, and making tremendous contributions to the cultivation of talents in China’s automobile industry. The cooperation with WUT again demonstrates that DCEC’s determination to fulfill its social responsibility and promoting China’s automobile industry”, remarked Xiong Zhenhong at the ceremony.
B, L and D engine series which fall into mechanical and electronic control categories are among those donations. Their advanced technologies are expected to enrich students learning experiences. Furthermore, DCEC and WUT also signed cooperation framework agreement to establish a strategic partnership to promote mutual development.
As a socially responsible enterprise, DCEC has always been supportive to the development of China’s education. So far, it has not only provided financial aids to poor students in mountainous areas, but also donated approximately 40 engines in total to several universities including Tsinghua University, Chongqing University as well as Chang’an University. Through its charity programs, DCEC shoulders its social responsibilities and gives back to communities, promoting sustainable development.
