Order Summary: Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trucks Were Delivered Successively in China
CHINA(chinatrucks): 1. On August 18, Yutong showcased its hydrogen fuel cell dumpers and mixer trucks at CIEVE 2022 Zhengzhou, in Henan Province, China.
2.On August 16, 100 18-ton hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks, jointly developed by REFIRE Group and FAW Jiefang, were delivered to customer. These vehicles will then be operated by BESTPATH (Shanghai) IoT Technology. At the same time, Jiefang, REFIRE and BESTPATH signed a three-party strategic agreement to cooperate on promoting 1000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the future.
3.On August 15, Zhangjiagang put the first 10 hydrogen-powered heavy trucks into service, and plans to put in another 500 hydrogen-powered heavy trucks in the coming two years.
4.On August 11, Jinnan Steel Group put first 300 hydrogen-powered heavy trucks in to operation. Since 2022, Jinnan Steel Group has signed cooperation agreements with Dayun, Golden Dragon, FAW Jiefang on the promotion of hydrogen-powered buses, special trucks, autonomous trucks, hydrogen refueling stations and photovoltaic liquid hydrogen construction.
5.Hyundai Motor Company announced today the export of its XCIENT Fuel Cell heavy-duty trucks to Germany, the biggest commercial vehicle market in Europe. Seven German companies in logistics, manufacturing and retail will put 27 XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks into fleet service with funding for eco-friendly commercial vehicles from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV). This is also the second export of Hyundai's hydrogen-fueled heavy-duty truck XCIENT Fuel Cell to Europe following its first export to Switzerland in March this year.
6.On August 4, 2022, Shanghai held a ceremony for the first batch of hydrogen-fueled vehicles to be centrally dispatched. FOTON Iblue 42T hydrogen fuel cell tractors and 18T medium-duty trucks were put into use as the first demonstration vehicles.
7. On August 4, SAIC Hongyan announced that its first batch of 100 hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks will be officially put into commercial operation in Shanghai, China. Shanghai was previously picked as the first batch of demonstration cities for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) in China and these vehicles will serve as the first batch of hydrogen fuel cell demonstration vehicles.
