FOTON Mexico Held Its 2nd Dealer Conference
MEXICO -- With the theme of "ALIGNMENT 2022" and spirit of “Strength, Courage, Focus”, the 2nd Foton Mexico Dealer Conference was held in Queretaro, Mexico from 7 to 9 April, aiming to further grow its business together with all the dealers. More than 120 people including Raul, General Manager of LDR Solutions, the general agent of FOTON Mexico, Liu Jia, General Manager of FOTON Mexico, 20 secondary agents and more than 10 media outlets together participated in the annual conference.
The conference started with a review of the 2021 results. After the review, it comes to the highlighted part of the conference – product showcase. FOTON Mexico presented to the audience 15 new products for 2022, including the new AUMAN 560hp tractor, Diesel Truck Mate and the full range of electric products, targeting at the freight and passenger transport sectors. In addition, these vehicles are also available to test drive for visitors on the scene.
FOTON is one of the brands with the most complete portfolio in the Mexican market, which are fully capable of meeting market demands and empowering customers. VAN, TOANO and Truck Mate for the last-mile delivery scenario serves as a prime example to that. The Truck Mate model, in particular, ranks in the top in the Mexican market thanks to its large cargo space, 2.2-ton chassis, rear twin tires and powerful diesel engine.
AUMARK S Series Super truck is a short-haul medium-duty truck specifically built for the Mexican market. It features excellent original equipment such as LED daytime running lights, headlights, fog lights and a convex mirror kit that allows for improved visibility and maneuverability.
AUMARK S8 is powered by a Cummins ISF engine and has a 12 tonnes PBV and up to 7½ tonnes chassis load capacity. AMARK S12 is featured with 17.5 tonne PBV, large cab space, air brakes, ZF gearbox and Cummins ISD series engine.
AUMAN EST-A tractor, known as the "money master" in the heavy-duty truck segment, was also on display with a 6×4 drivetrain and 52,000 lb FOTON axles. Additionally, dual fuel tanks are also equipped to significantly increase its range.
In addition to the freight industry, FOTON also has an important role to play in public transport and new energy sectors. FOTON AUV buses, equipped with Allison automatic transmission and Cummins compressed natural gas (CNG) engine, are mainly deployed in urban public transport in Mexico, giving people with disabilities easy access to low-threshold and green urban service.
FOTON Mexico also brought a number of new electric vehicles on display, including the zero emission versions of top-selling models, like AUMARK S3, Truck Mate and VIEW VAN developed by the IBLUE division and equipped with batteries from Chinese giant CATL, offering local users a wide range of options.
FOTON Mexico has now been certified to international ISO 9001 standards for quality management systems. With the full range of commercial vehicle products in place, particularly IBLUDE products, FOTON will provide more competitive transport solutions to the region to go with the current the green, low carbon and new energy trends.
