Dongfeng Overseas Sales Up 222% to 11735 Units in First 10 Month
Dongfeng’s overseas sales in the first eleven months of 2023 have reached 11735 units, up 222% year-on-year.
In the first 11 months of 2023, Dongfeng Motor's overseas sales have reached 11,735 units, up 222% year-on-year. In particular, it achieved major breakthroughs in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.
Dongfeng provide custom-developed products and post-sales technical supports according to different customer demands and regulations in overseas market.
At present, Dongfeng Tianlong GX, Dongfeng Tianlong KL, Dongfeng Tianlong KC, Dongfeng Tianjin KR and other medium and heavy-duty trucks have received important and welcome recognition from overseas market and customers.
Dongfeng Tianlong GX, a model developed specifically for trunk road logistics, is among the trucks loved most by overseas customer. In south America, it is in no way inferior to that of European countries with respect to competitive strength. Donfeng redefined trucks based on the features of Pan-American Highway and Central Highway. In addition to the world-class powertrain combination, intelligent configuration, it can fully meet the customer demands and bring a better TCO cost for users.
The vehicle’s drive wheels use large single tires instead of dual tires to reduce weight by 150kg. With low rolling resistance tires, the vehicle’s fuel consumption is reduced by approximately 12% due to a 20% reduction in rolling resistance.
In 2023, Dongfeng Tianlong GX ranks first in South America with sales of 5000 units in the first 10 months of the year. Some overseas users have reached 150000km of operating range without major overhaul.
For the right hand drive countries with for long steep slopes, Dongfeng developed 8×4 cargo truck equipped with Z14-520 engine and AMT transmission.
Dongfeng Tianjin KR cargo truck developed for urban transport is available in both Africa and Southeast Asia. It is widely recognized by customers for its user-friendly design, fuel economy, ease of operation and driving comfort.
Dongfeng Tianlong KC had outstanding performance in the European market, with cumulative sales of over 6,000 units sold in the first 10 months of this year.
