XCMG Export Reaches 200 Million US Dollars in Q1, 2017

www.chinatrucks.com: According to statistics from customs, in Q1, XCMG export volume had reached almost 200 million dollars, up by 63,17% year on year and the market share in export market rises by 2.9%.
XCMG tops the brand list in sales in Middle Asia, Africa and Middle East areas. The export of traditional products such as crane, loading machine, road roller, land leveller, and paver maintains No.1 in their own segment. New products are experiencing a higher-than-average growth rate, with excavator up by 25%, drilling rig up by 33% and tower crane up by 121% year on year.
XCMG gets new customers by marketing in key markets and conducting various product promotion activities. For example, XCMG attends Conexpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, Nipal BuildCon, and organizes a series of market promotion activities in Bangladesh. In Conexpo-Con/Agg, XCMG demonstrates its high-level products and integrated service through an activity themed as “Leading Technology without Fault” and receives potential orders with more than 100 million RMB from over 20 countries.
In overseas market, XCMG has won significant projects after conducting market survey, taking a deep dive into its customers, teaming up with outstanding local dealers and key clients. It continues to get the first order of Chinese engineering international business in Caribbean area, the first order of rotary drilling rig in Tailand, leading project in American AHERN and many other exports orders related to infrastructure in countries along the route of the “Silk and Belt”.
With a sales network covering 177 countries and regions, XCMG has been focusing on the aftermarket in international arena. It never stops the improvement in aftermarket such as organizing “overseas service improvement on parts”, “training and authentication on overseas service provides”, “overseas part storage management improvement”, and “overseas service info system improvement”, etc. Data shows that in Q1, XCMG sees as much as 263.3% growth year on year in parts exporting, bringing fruitful results in aftermarket construction.
