RAJA Delivers the First 1,000 Electric Light Trucks
www.chinatrucks.com: At 14:00, May 16, 2017, Chengdu RAJA New Energy Automobile Technology Co., Ltd holds a grand delivery ceremony in Chengdu to deliver the first 1,000 pure electric light trucks. The ceremony has leaders at all levels from Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Commission, Chengdu Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and Economic Development Zone there to witness the moment.
RAJA was reported to have planned out a proposal for “One Hundred, One Thousand, and Ten Thousands Program”, aiming at establishing 100 charging stations and 1,000 charging pillars, and selling 10,000 logistics vehicles in Chengdu in 2017. And RAJA has indicated that by the end of 2020, 100,000 units are expected to be sold in Sichuan province as the promotion of pure electric trucks moves forward in Sichuan area and the deployment of an electric truck charging network.
The 1,000 vans delivered this time are all pure electric new energy vehicles with zero emission, offering a driving range of up to 180-220 km. The vehicle measures 5.995m in length, 2.1m in width and 2.98m in height. The maximum speed is up to 80 km/hour. These vans are mainly served for urban short-distance logistics demands for companies like JD, DEPPON, Yuancheng Logistics, Hongqi Chain and other express companies.
