JMC Heavy-duty Auto Gets Technology Support from Ford
www.chinatrucks.com: JMC announced on July 24 that they have signed JMC J19 Heavy Truck Technology Project with Ford Motor and some of their technology companies to introduce Ford technology on heavy trucks. And JMC senior management signed the agreement.
The contract means the technology relates Ford heavy truck chassis, the driving cabin and parts on design, manufacturing and services. And the contract products means JMC can produce JMC heavy trucks based on Ford heavy trucks related technology.
JMC will pay 8 million euro to Ford and JMC will also pay 485 euro to 330 euro for each chassis which is equipped with JMC heavy trucks, and JMC will pay 20 euro to 40 euro to each JMC heavy trucks using Ford driving cabin technology in terms of different sales regions.
