Dayun and Mercedes-Benz Co-produce the World-class Heavy Truck

www.chinatrucks.com: Dayun and Mercedes-Benz produced the world-class heavy truck together. Recently, on the conference of delegation of Yuncheng of the seventh session of the twelfth Shandong Province People’s Congress, Provincial People's Congress, the Chairman of Dayun Yuan Qinshan said that they has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Benz, the heavy truck equipped with Benz engine has successfully passed the road test. In March this year, the "top" heavy truck will be put into mass production.

Dayun headquarter is located in Airport Economic Development Zone of Yuncheng City, which is a private enterprise integrating commercial vehicle research and development, production, sales and service, production bases of the corporation include in Yuncheng, Chengdu and Shiyan. Among them, Yuncheng Base mainly produces heavy trucks, Chengdu Base mainly produce light trucks and Shiyan mainly produce medium-duty trucks. The main production equipment and testing equipment of the Yuncheng Base have reached advanced domestic level. “Dayun” trademark was identified as A Well-Known Trademark in China.
According to reports, Dayun with Germany's Daimler (Mercedes-Benz) Corporation signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, the two sides will establish and maintain good relations of cooperation in product support, technical R&D and sales services. Daimler AG is the world's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, the world's second largest luxury car manufacturer and the top second truck manufacturer.

Last year, the sample truck of Dayun heavy truck with Mercedes-Benz engine rolled off. A team of engineers from Mercedes Benz was sent to Dayun for carrying out strict technical guidance and evaluation, completed the ignition test, vehicle commissioning, road test and so on. For the first time, Dayun heavy truck equipped with Benz engine require re-calibration of each system platform parameter, including to check the functional parameters in running condition, the engine achieves the best matching state, to check and confirm whether the engine fault diagnosis work regularly all these things need test and commission.
Yuan Qinshan said that after launching, Dayun-Benz heavy truck will be sold in domestic and overseas market, and its price will be controlled in a reasonable range.
