200 Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles Delivered to NYK Car Carrier

www.chinatrucks.com: On April 19, 2017, a delivery ceremony of 200 units of Dongfeng commercial vehicles is held in NYK Car Carrier (China) Co., Ltd. At the ceremony, Dongfeng’s Vice General Manager Sun Zhenyi hands over the “gold key” seen as a symbol of 200 units of commercial vehicles to General Manager of NYK Car Carrier Zhu Kai. The delivery elevate the level of comprehensive strategic cooperation between two sides and marks Dongfeng taking this chance as a starting point to fully move onto the car carrier market.
NYK Car Carrier (China) Co., Ltd. is NYK Japan’s wholly owned company in China. “NYK Car Carrier (China) has been in cooperation with Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle for 12 years. This is mainly due to the common value we share and high-quality products and service we provide for users,” President of NYK Japan said at the delivery ceremony.
“In 2010, we delivered the first 100 Dongfeng KINLAND heavy trucks. As we gather here today to delivery another 200 Dongfeng Tianjin car carriers, Dongfeng will continue to strengthen its friendly cooperation with NYK. In future, we hope to establish a business operation model for the industry to commonly promote the development in car carrier industry,” said by Liu Yi, Chief of Sales & Marketing Regional Customer Development Department. As many of the reforms in complete vehicle logistics industry will be implemented this year and the legislation regarding the transportation overload is in place, the vehicle logistics enterprises will further move towards normalized and efficient development from the current scale and intensive development, which will promote great industrial capacity in a short term.
The parked and travelling Dongfeng commercial vehicles in NYK China draw attention to journalist. “Dongfeng car carriers account for 80% in our fleet. For the past several years, the cumulative purchasing exceeds 400 units. What’s rare is that our Dongfeng Tianjin with more than ten years remain in normal operation” said the General Manager Zhu Kai.
What’s rare is the Dongfeng Tianjin vehicles with around 10 years of usage are still in normal operation,” said by General Manager Zhu Kai. Over more than a decade, NYK China has been maintaining a sound relationship with Dongfeng.
