FAW Jiefang J6P with Solid SSCR Unveils in Shanghai
In winter, we often come to the problem of luxury consumption and waste of urea when driving. Although it costs practically nothing much, but does take much trouble and time to repair. But now, this problem had been resolved by Jiefang through adoption of SSCR technology.
Recently, J6P 6X4 460hp pilot tractor with SSCR system unveiled in Shanghai. Except for equipping with 12-speed transmission, 457 punching welding axle with speed ratio of 3.727, ConMet free-maintenance wheel hub, free of oil change within 10,000 kilometers for engine, housing and axle, the traditional urea tank has also been replaced with SSCR system.
The picture shows that the location for urea tank has been replaced with an air receiver. Under the accumulator battery, an additional aluminum tank is located, which is full of catalyst and plays the same role as urea, but more reliable because it will not crystallize, neither has any urea pump wearing parts. However, the solid SCR needs to be replaced regularly, which can be done at the Jiefang service stations.
