Dongfeng D9 Medium-sized Truck Makes its Debut in Chengdu
On May 15, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Dongfeng) officially released its latest product, D9 medium-sized truck. Equipped with Dongfeng Cummins ISD180 engine, the truck immediately attracted wide media and public attention.
According to Dongfeng, D9 can be widely used for cargo transportation, waste transportation, and dangerous chemical transportation.
Boasting powerful performances, D9 can cover a rotation speed of 1,200-1,600 rpm when its at its maximum torque. When its rotation speed reaches only 800 rpm, the truck can generate a torque of 400N.m.
Another highlight of the vehicle is its competitive fuel economy. Adopting Bosch’s third generation high-pressure common rail fuel combustion system in its engine, the vehicle can accurately control the timing and amount of fuel ejection. In addition, its four-valve technology has further increased the air flow and thus has enhanced the vehicle’s energy efficiency.
Equipped with Fast 8-speed transmission gearbox and 8T axle, Dongfeng D9 delivers superior performances. Its spacious room for drivers, unobstructed view at the driver’s cockpit, more travel comforts and higher maneuverability together further sharpen its overall competitiveness in the market.
