Half a million complete vehicles exported is not a dream
Mr. Zhang Ji, Deputy director of department of Machinery & Electronics, Ministry of Commerce, said China is likely to export more than half a million complete vehicles this year. The Ministry of Commerce organized the first China International Auto parts Expos last week and during the expo, Mr. Zhang Ji pointed out that China's auto industry is developing fast and auto export is performing well these years, which has lead to the boom of spare parts export. Having a good performance of 12.1 billion us$ last year, the export value of spare parts in this year will grow by 34% to 40% and the complete vehicle export will grow by 95%, which will surpass half a million units this year.
In the first three quarters of this year, the export value & amount of domestic auto industry have surpassed those of last year. Export value is 4.799 billion Us$ and export amount is 413,900 units. Mr. Zhang Ji said this is contributed by the fast export development of self-owned brands vehicles. Mr. Zhang Ji warns that the main markets of China self-owned brands vehicles are Mideast Africa and Latin America. If this situation won't change, china self-owned brands will face greater pressure in these areas.
