Markets share for 10-12L series heavy truck engines amounted to 35%~40%, and their indigeous 5-7L engines used in buses, excavator and medium trucks also performed rather well after two-year marketing. In this case, Weichai has become the power provider with the most products in the world.
In addition, Weichai Landking Engine is the only domestic engine meeting Euro 3 and National 5 emission standards. And the engine also boasts three features, including 30% lower comprehensive failure rates, 3L fuel can be saved each houe and conprehensive noise can be reduced 2dB. Market needs for Weichai 10L-above will amount to 1.2 million units in five years.
