China Major Commercial Vehicle Players Set Ambitious Targets in 2020
As 2019 is drawing to its end, players in China’s commercial vehicle industry have all set ambitious goals for the coming year.
FAW Jiefang Aims to Increase its Annual Sales Volume to 350,000 Units in 2020
From January to November, FAW Jiefang sold 326,000 units trucks. According to Hu Hanjie, president of FAW Jiefang, the company aims to increase its annual sales volume to 350,000 units in 2020, 500,000 units in 2025, and 600,000 units in 2030.
From 2016 to 2018, FAW Jiefang’s annual sales volume doubled, increasing from 140,000 units to 300,000 units. In the same period of time, its market share rose from 17% to 21%.
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle to Increase its Annual Sales to One Million Units
From January to November this year, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle sold 549,000 units trucks, up by 8.1% year on year. In 2018, the company’s sales volume stood at 565,000 units.
SHACMAN Sets its Annual Sales Target at 270,000 Units in 2020
From January to November this year, SHACMan sold 169,000 units trucks, up by 1.7% year on year. Back in 2018, Yuan Hongming, president of the company revealed that it aims to increase its annual sales volume to 270,000 units in 2020.
