Mauricio Hurtado, Chilean Ambassador to China Visits FAWDE
On August 9, Mr. Mauricio Hurtado, Chilean Ambassador to China, paid a visit to FAWDE Division and was warmly received by Mr. Mi Xidong, Director and Secretary of Party Committee of FAWDE plant.

Mr. Mauricio Hurtado came to Huishan Intelligent Factory and visited the product showroom and joint plant. During the visit, he expressed high praise for FAWDE products and its intelligent manufacturing process and highly affirmed what FAWDE has done to promote the high-quality development of the industry through intelligent manufacturing research and application. He believes that FAWDE is a benchmarking enterprise in China’s domestic market as well as a world-class provider of commercial vehicle engines. The plant is showing what FAWDE thought about the future, and what a smart factory should be like.
During the exchange, Qian Hengrong introduced FAWDE’s efforts around dual-carbon and global environmental protection, as well as its achievements in Chile and overseas markets, and hoped to inject new vitality into the cooperation between China and Chile by introducing more stronger and greener engines.
Mr. Mauricio Hurtado said that Chile is a country that produces copper ore and to transport it they need a reliable engine like Aowei. As more and more FAWDE products are put into use in Chile, he hopes that their introduction will make the Chilean economy and environment better.
